The following information and controls are available at File System > SmartQuotas > Settings.

Archive Directory
Type or browse to the directory where you want to archive scheduled quota reports.
Number of Scheduled Reports Retained
Type the number of scheudled reports that should be saved in the report archive at one time.
Report Frequency
Indicates when scheduled storage quota reporting runs. Click Manual to run reports manually. Click Scheduled to specify a custom report frequency. You can specify one of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly. Within any of those settings, you can use the following options to further refine the report schedule.
Generate report every
Specify the numeric value for the selected report frequency; for example, every 2 months.
Run policies on
Select the day or multiple days to generate reports.
Run one policy per specified day
Set the time of day to generate this report.
Run multiple policies per specified day
Set the intervals and times of day to generate the report for that day.
Scheduled Report Archiving
Determines the maximum number of scheduled quota reports that are available for viewing on the SmartQuotas Reports page. You can use the following options to further define report archiving.
Limit archive size
Type an integer to specify the maximum number of scheduled quota reports to keep in the archive.
Manual Report Archiving
Determines the maximum number of manually-generated quota reports that are available for viewing on the SmartQuotas Reports page. You can use the following options to further define report archiving.
Limit archive size
Type an integer to specify the maximum number of manually-generated quota reports to keep in the archive.
Archive Directory
Type or browse to the directory where you want to archive manually-generated quota reports.
Email Mapping
Controls how email addresses are resolved when the cluster sends a quota notification. By default, no email mapping rules are created.
Create an email mapping rule
Enables you to remap the domain used for SmartQuotas email notifications. You can remap Active Directory Windows domains, local UNIX domains, or NIS domains. When you click Create an email mapping rule, the following options are available.
Provider type
Specify a local or other email provider type.
Current domain
Specify the domain to use for the mapping rule.
Map-to domain
Specify the name of the domain that you want to map email notifications to.
Advisory Limit Notification Rules
Enables you to configure default quota notification rules for advisory limits for a quota. The following settings are available when you select this option:
Event: Advisory Limit Value Exceeded
Specify that an email is to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Delay to wait before generating the notification.
Event: While Advisory Limit Remains Exceeded
Specify that an email is to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Frequency at which the repeating notification messages are to be sent, including the day and time.
Soft Limit Notification Rules
Enables you to configure default quota notification rules for soft limits for a quota. The following settings are available when you select this option:
Event: Soft Limit Value Exceeded
Specify that an email is to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Delay to wait before generating the notification.
Event: While Soft Limit Remains Exceeded
Specify that an email is to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Frequency at which the repeating soft limit notification messages are to be sent, including the day and time.
Event: Soft Limit Write Access Denied
Specify that one or multiple emails are to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Frequency at which the repeating soft limit notification messages are to be sent, including the day and time.
Event: Soft Limit Grace Period Expired
Specify that one or multiple emails are to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Delay to wait before generating the notification.
Hard Limit Notification Rules
Enables you to configure default quota notification rules for hard limits for a quota. The following settings are available when you select this option:
Event: Hard Limit Value Exceeded
Specify that an email is to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template. Finally, you can specify Create Cluster Event and a Delay to wait before generating the hard limit notification.
Event: While Hard Limit Remains Exceeded
Specify that an email is to be sent to Notify owner or Notify another, or both. When you specify Notify another, you also must specify the email address, and optionally a Message Template.
