Attempt the following possible solutions in the order listed. If a solution resolves the issue, there is no need to perform the subsequent solutions.
Make sure the cluster can reach the ICAP server through the network connection.
If the network connection is working as expected, determine if the ICAP server is responsive.
Cancel the existing event.
If the event persists, gather logs, and then contact EMC Isilon Technical Support for additional troubleshooting. For instructions, see Gathering cluster logs.
