Working with authentication providers in the ECS Portal

You can use the Authentication Provider Management page available from Manage > Authentication to view the details of existing authentication providers, to add AD/LDAP or Keystone authentication providers, to edit existing authentication providers, and to delete authentication providers.

Table 1. Authentication provider properties
Field Description
Name The name for the authentication provider.
Type The type of authentication provider. The authentication provider is an Active Directory (AD), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), or Keystone V3 server.
Domains The domains that the authentication provider provides access to.
Status Indicates whether the authentication provider is Enabled or Disabled.
Actions The actions that can be completed for the authentication provider.
  • Edit: Change the AD or LDAP authentication provider settings listed in Table 1 or change the Keystone authentication provider settings listed in Table 1.
  • Delete: Delete the authentication provider.
  • New Authentication Provider button: Add an authentication provider.
